For the upcoming 7th Annual Making Waves Workshop, on April 26th, young wavemakers wanted to know more about what is happening in the world, and how their lives are being impacted. They also asked for specifics on what a more equal world looks like and what they could do to achieve it. As we thought about who is speaking up about public education, healthcare, the housing crisis, LGBTQ2S+ rights, one person's name consistently came up: Janis Irwin. We are thrilled to announce that Janis will be joining us to talk about the waves she makes, and how we can join her in making purposeful and powerful waves, so that together we can build a caring community.
